Light Values

Access a comprehensive database of real-world Lumen (lm) outputs. This module provides the physical baselines needed for local and artificial illumination—from the dim glow of an LED standby indicator to the blinding intensity of a stadium floodlight. These values can be adjusted to any EV value used in the level with new light intensity value calculated.

HDRI, Sky and Sun Light Lookup Table

The foundation of your exterior art direction. This table details the critical intensity ratios between your HDRI backdrop, Sky Light, and Directional Sun Light across various cinematic scenarios. Use this data to maintain high-end specular highlights on foliage during the day, or to dial in the heavy, directionless wash of an overcast storm.

EV Min/Max Lookup Table

Calibrate your virtual camera to match physical light sources. Because authentic Sun and Sky intensities rely on massive numerical values, this module provides the exact Exposure Value (EV100) settings needed to properly expose the scene without blowing out your highlights, whether you are shooting in a bright midday desert or under a pitch-black, moonlit sky.

Color Grading Lookup Table

Fine-tune the emotional resonance of your scene’s final render. This lookup table guides you through global saturation adjustments to mimic human eye perception in different energy states, alongside specific Blue channel Gamma and Gain offsets to achieve cinematic temperature shifts—like the silver-blue crush of a day-for-night look or the intense warmth of golden hour.

Our 1.5% Commitment to Stripe Climate.

As 3D artists and developers, we spend our days simulating physical light, calculating Lumen bounces, and rendering hyper-realistic environments. We push hardware to its absolute limits to create breathtaking digital worlds. But the GPUs, servers, and workstations we rely on to build these worlds consume immense amounts of real-world energy. The digital realm has a very real, physical carbon footprint.

At Pterosoft Studio, we believe that building tools for the future means taking responsibility for the world we live in today. That is why we are proud to partner with the Stripe Climate initiative.

We automatically direct 1.5% of all Light It Up subscription revenue—across both Indie and Enterprise tiers—to fund next-generation carbon removal technologies.

Beyond Traditional “Offsets”

This commitment isn’t about buying standard, low-impact carbon offsets just to tick a corporate responsibility box. Stripe Climate pools funds from forward-thinking tech companies to scale frontier technologies that actively pull CO₂ directly out of the atmosphere and store it permanently.

When you subscribe to Light It Up, a portion of your money goes to scientifically vetted, high-impact projects, including:

Direct Air Capture: Machines that act like massive artificial trees, scrubbing CO₂ from the ambient air.

Enhanced Weathering: Accelerating natural geological processes to trap carbon in minerals.

Bio-Oil Sequestration: Converting biomass into carbon-rich liquids injected deep underground.

Zero Extra Cost to You

This initiative costs you absolutely nothing extra. The 1.5% comes directly out of our bottom line, not your pocket. It is simply our cost of doing business the right way.

By choosing Light It Up to streamline your rendering pipeline, you aren’t just taking the guesswork out of your Unreal Engine lighting—you are actively investing in the critical scientific infrastructure needed to cool our planet.

Create without compromise. Let’s build better worlds, together.
